DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Strive Health, the national leader in value-based kidney care, was recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best Startup Employers 2022. The award recognizes 500 up-and-coming companies liked best by their employees based on research conducted by Forbes in collaboration with market research company Statista Inc. The list was announced on March 8, 2022, and can be viewed on the Forbes website.
America’s Best Startup Employers were selected based on a methodology that evaluates employer excellence in three ways:
- Employee Satisfaction: Extensive research was conducted on average length of employment and online employer reviews.
- Employer Reputation: Company specific information was algorithmically extracted from social media channels such as news sites, micro-blogs, blogs and social networks.
- Company Growth: Comprehensive evaluations of website traffic, headcount growth rates and industry-referenced job openings.
To be considered for the ranking, employers need to have a headquarters in the U.S. and be founded between 2012 and 2019. The final list recognizes the top 500 companies based on over 8 million data points.
“Strive is ecstatic to be recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best Startup Employers 2022,” said Dave Thornton, Chief People Officer at Strive. “It’s been our goal since Strive was founded in 2018 to create an incredible place to work, and this award demonstrates that our Strivers feel good about working for a company that is setting the standard for value-based kidney care.”
Strive aims to fix a broken kidney care delivery system that’s fragmented, continues to emphasize dialysis care and fails to mitigate unsustainable cost trends. To reverse this, Strive works with payors and providers to put chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients first, improve outcomes and lower the cost of care. The company’s tech-enabled care solution is designed for early kidney disease detection and total care for people with CKD and end stage kidney disease in a value-based setting.
Earlier this year, Strive was also named a Best Place to Work by Built In Colorado, a recognition that was focused on the company’s benefits and people-first culture. Strive’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts continue to scale with talent and business objectives. The company will be hiring a DEI director in 2022 to build on current commitments, which include a metric-driven DEI workgroup, employee resource groups, quarterly fireside chats, and continued education and awareness campaigns.
In 2021, Strive’s workforce more than doubled in size, going from 150 to 350 Strivers. To explore career opportunities at Strive, visit Careers.StriveHealth.com.
