With Lenovo’s ample experience in the “new IT” infrastructure construction and the strength in data cloud and computing, Jemmell New Energy is confident in the development of laying out and building its own intelligent connected technology platform.
Founded in 2018, Jemmell New Energy is dedicated to producing A00 class practical, convenient and economical electric vehicles for consumers.

The company currently has one EV model on the market, the Lingbao BOX. Last week, the company introduced its latest 2022 version of the BOX, starting from RMB40,000 ($6,262), and is expected to be on the market in December.
Jemmell New Energy has a production line with 50,000 vehicles capacity, and comprehensive manufacturing techniques including molding, stamping, welding, coating and assembly. The company is also capable of producing various auto parts, such as battery packs. In addition, Jemmell New Energy has an independent product testing line and an auto parts lab.
Notably, early on, Lenovo has stressed that the company would not be making vehicles. Judging from this partnership, Lenovo is currently focusing on the vehicle intelligence and connectivity field.
