On Monday at a press conference, Packsize International (Booth B7004) exhibited its X Series—highly advanced, efficient and flexible automated packaging solutions—and discussed other topics.
Eliminating any necessity for box management or high labor demands, as it requires very little (or no) manual packaging, the solutions enable users to achieve higher data visibility, profitability and productivity, along with more effective use of warehouse space.
One solution, known as the X4, combines four fully automated packaging functions into one, as it’s able to cut, crease, glue and label custom, right-sized boxes. While providing right-sized packaging, the solution completely eliminates excessive void fill, leading to a reduction in waste.
Another solution showcased at the press conference, the X7 has seven fully automated functions, allowing companies to create, pack and ship variable right-sized boxes, while reducing labor requirements and enhancing productivity and process efficiencies.
“Packsize offers right-sized packaging, on-demand solutions that are better for the planet, businesses and consumers,” said Hanko Kiessner, founder and executive chairman of Packsize. “When we invented the X Series, our goal was to allow businesses to re-imagine the possibilities of packaging—for a more sustainable future.”
