Zypp Electric, which is a Gurugram-based tech-enabled electric vehicle (EV)-as-a-Service platform, announced its plans to hire and train 3,000 women as delivery partners by the end of 2022. The EV logistics company will be expanding its driver partner workforce from 3,000 to 6,000 this year.
The new delivery partners will help the company to empower and enhance sustainable delivery capabilities, the company hopes.

Founded in 2017, the company claims that it is on a mission to make India carbon-free by using an ecosystem of electric Vehicles and EV-based technology to make last-mile logistics sustainable and emission-free. Its business model is to make carbon-free last-mile delivery for local merchants to e-commerce giants to delivery executives and thereby reduce delivery cost and pollution on an asset-light model.
