In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Credit.org is thrilled to unveil its refreshed brand identity. The organization is no stranger to brand changes; Credit.org was founded as the Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) of the Inland Empire in 1974. In 2001, the agency changed its name, becoming Springboard Nonprofit Consumer Credit Counseling. Then in 2016, the name changed again, to Credit.org.

Even though the look and feel of their brand is changing, the agency’s commitment to empowering people through financial education remains as strong as ever.

“We wanted to renew our commitment to serving the public with a fresh look,” President and Chief Executive Officer Todd Emerson said. “The new look has brighter, appealing colors and underscores the inspiration we offer to the community.”

“This is a time where a lot of people are struggling financially,” Emerson said. “We want them to know the future is bright, and there’s always cause for optimism. Our brand is about open communication for anyone who needs help.”

As Credit.org commemorates its 50th year of service in 2024, it’s only fitting that this milestone serves as the catalyst for rejuvenating and revitalizing its brand, ensuring its relevance for years to come.

“This fresh new look we’re implementing is merely superficial,” Emerson said. “While our outward appearance may evolve, our core values persist. We remain deeply ingrained in the community, maintaining our close collaborations with local nonprofit partners, state and federal government agencies, and vital business allies to steadfastly pursue our mission.”
