Alison.ai, a leader in AI-driven advertising technology, has successfully closed a $13.3 million seed funding round, with Almaz Capital leading the investment, joined by Foresight Group, Cardumen Capital, Crescendo Venture Partners, and Alumni Ventures. The funds will be used to expand the company’s reach in the U.S. and Western European markets and enhance its innovative creative solutions.

Founded in 2021 by Asaf Yanai (CEO) and Koby Berkovich (CTO), Alison.ai quickly became a disruptor in the advertising industry by using advanced AI to automate the creation of video ads. With major clients like LG, Bosch, and TikTok, Alison.ai is well-positioned to reshape how businesses approach creative advertising by replacing costly and time-consuming production processes with AI-powered solutions.

Addressing Inefficiencies in Ad Creation

The advertising industry faces significant challenges. A major hurdle is the inefficiency of traditional ad creation processes, which often require costly production cycles and repeated testing, such as A/B testing, to optimize campaigns. A report by Digiday found that while 40% of agencies use data-driven content variations for dynamic creative optimization, only 20% incorporate AI into their workflows. This gap highlights the potential for innovation through AI, especially in the creative development process.

Alison.ai aims to address these inefficiencies by leveraging AI to create full video ads based on a brand’s data as well as competitive intelligence. By eliminating the need for iterative testing, Alison.ai enables advertisers to generate optimized final scripts, storyboards, and video content, which significantly reduces production costs and testing time. The company claims that its platform improves return on ad spend (ROAS) threefold, increases click-through rates (CTR) by 200%, and cuts production and testing budgets by up to 50%.

Transforming the Ad Industry with AI

As AI technologies continue to mature, Alison.ai is focused on enhancing its platform to further streamline the ad creation process. The investment will support these efforts and enable Alison.ai to develop even more advanced creative optimization tools. The company’s vision is to become the global leader in AI-driven advertising, empowering marketers to make informed decisions and optimize their campaigns with minimal human intervention.

CEO and co-founder Asaf Yanai shared, “At Alison.ai, we believe in the transformative power of AI to reshape the world of advertising. This investment will enable us to push the boundaries of what’s possible and deliver even greater value to our clients around the world. We’re looking forward to continuing our journey of growth and innovation and are eager to see the incredible impact our enhanced capabilities will bring to the advertising industry.”

Investor Confidence and Future Growth

Investor confidence in Alison.ai is reflected in the strong support it has received during this funding round. Yoav Samet, General Partner at Almaz Capital, expressed his excitement about the company’s potential to revolutionize the ad creation process. “We are thrilled to lead this investment round in Alison.ai. The company’s unique application of AI in the creative content development process has the potential to revolutionize how businesses generate content at orders of magnitude faster speed and lower cost,” Samet said.

Gonzalo Martínez De Azagra, Founder and General Partner at Cardumen Capital, added, “We are excited to continue our support for Alison.ai as the company enters this new phase of growth. The company’s team has made significant progress in developing its creative optimization and generation solution, and we are confident that they will continue to execute their vision.”

Looking ahead, Alison.ai’s expansion plans are centered on further refining its AI-driven platform and establishing a stronger presence in key international markets. As brands seek more efficient ways to deliver personalized and high-performing ads, Alison.ai’s solutions are well-positioned to meet this growing demand.

Alison.ai is ready to transform the construction of advertising campaigns by optimizing creative workflows and reducing production costs, thereby enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the industry.
