StartUp Sault Ste. Marie brings back Annual Women’s Success Luncheon

StartUp Sault Ste. Marie is bringing back their Annual Women’s Success Luncheon at the Machine Shop on March 10. The event will feature local speakers like Angela Caputo, Kristin Dias and Grace Swain, a news release issued by StartUp Sault Ste. Marie stated.

StartUP Sault Ste. Marie is excited to announce their 4th Annual Women’s Success Luncheon is returning as an in-person lunch event on March 10, 2022 at The Machine Shop. The luncheon will celebrate International Women’s Day by featuring inspiring guest speakers, networking and unity.

Join local leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals to connect and celebrate women in Sault Ste. Marie. The event will be MC’d by Kathleen Heymans, StartUP Sault board member and Manager of Business Development at the City of Sault Ste. Marie.

This year’s event features an excellent lineup of local women speakers, sharing advice on business resilience, brand building, and managing work, family and entrepreneurship.

Featured speakers:

Angela Caputo, Owner – The Breakfast Pig – Business Resilience

Kirstin Dias, Director of Marketing – YNCU and children’s book author – Navigating Brand Building & Motherhood During a Pandemic

Grace Swain, Social Media & Mindset Coach – Building Your Business and Your Brand on TikTok

“We are so excited to host this event in person after two years. COVID has been a challenge for everyone, especially small business and especially women. It is more important than ever to come together and support each other, inspire each other to keep going, and to continue building our businesses and our careers,” said Kathleen Heymans.
