Startups On Demand: M51 Entrepreneur Labs
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

In this interview series, I talk to key leaders from rising startups that are in demand and have a stake in the future of technology. These companies impact their industries and are NextGen in terms of product, platform, and service.

In this interview, I had the pleasure to talk to Ronen Menipaz, the Founder of M51 Entrepreneur Labs.

About M51:

M51 is a private equity that primarily invests in people – those who are fearless, passionate, and creative. M51 makes it possible for them to succeed by leveraging ideas, time, and a network of support.

M51 is a group of experienced entrepreneurs who understand the challenges entrepreneurs face today and do their best to take them to the next level, no matter what. These are causes they care about. Their goal is to leave everyone they meet better off than when we met them.

Q: Where did the initial idea for the company come from?

The realization that there are so many amazing startups and ventures out there, that with the right direction and push, can conquer their universe. And that my team and I can be a part of such journeys.

Q: What are the key differentiated features of your product or service?

We aren’t oriented towards exits. We are helping ventures that are a mutual fit – fulfill their potential and create a sustainable business for the long run.

Q: How does the company market or plan to market its products or services?

We have departments helping each venture tell its story, connect with its tribe, and tailor the most relevant marketing strategy. Which we then, of course, also take part in executing.

Q: What kind of CRM software is your company using?

Hubspot.

Q: What’s the first bit of advice you’d give to someone who’s thinking of starting their own startup?

That advice should be ignored as much as possible.

Subjectivity is at the root of advice. It’s a subjective opinion based on personal interpretation, emotions, and judgment. See for yourself what lies behind the doors.

Q: What is the key to happy clients?

It is understanding that not everyone is your client. Find out who they are and focus all your time and energy on them, and them ONLY.

Q: How do you strengthen your ability to focus on what matters?

I try to plan my week, eliminate distractions, delegate, and reach states of flow. I meditate and exercise and basically treat my brain’s needs as much as I treat my body’s.

Q: What other companies or startups inspire you?

I’ve recently interviewed Pat Dosset of Made For for my podcast. Pat’s a former Navy Seal and Google exec who left Silicon Valley to start a business that helps people reach their greatest potential by forming positive habits through principles of Neuroscience, positive physiology, wellness, and health. Such startups (and people) excite and inspire me.
