HUENIT has launched a kickstarter campaign for a modular robotic arm with AI vision. the tech company’s eponymous robot is a multifunctional tool that’s designed to complete small tasks either at work or at home.

 

‘from filming video content to creating prototypes or laser engraving products for your business. if you need a helping hand, HUENIT has you covered. this new modular robotic arm allows you to use artificial intelligence, 3D printing, laser engraving, and robotics, to make all your engineering and creative ideas come true with ease and speed,’  says HUENIT CEO sangmin lee.

HUENIT features

 

the base of the product is a robotic arm that can lift up to 750g, reach 390mm, and move at speeds of up to 500 mm/s. various tools can then be added to the end of the arm. the AI camera module is capable of facial recognition, image classification, object detection, line tracking, color recognition, human segmentation, and more. other attachable modules include a high power laser for engraving and cutting, a 3D printer module with auto-leveling function, and a pen-holder module. HUENIT also has a built-in vacuum pump that can be used without an extra connection.

 

users can also design their own modules for whatever task they need with the customizable creator tool. additional product features include auto tool change, easy-to-use software & touch display, and wifi & bluetooth connection. find out more about HUENIT on the kickstarter campaign here.
